DETROIT — One of Detroit's long-running musical traditions continues when Insane Clown Posse brings its annual Halloween concert, Hallowicked, to the Masonic Temple on Oct. 31, band and venue reps announced Monday.

Tickets for the concert, ICP's 32nd annual spooky season spectacular, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Axs.com. Venue presale starts Wednesday.

ICP has staged Hallowicked in Detroit every year since 1994, with just one exception: the 1996 edition was postponed after Violent J, one half of the face-painted, Faygo-spraying duo, shattered his collarbone in a pro wrestling match. (The concert was made up that December.)

Over the years, Hallowicked has been held at venues across Metro Detroit, including Harpo's, the Majestic Theatre, Royal Oak Music Theatre, Saint Andrew's Hall, the Fillmore Detroit and the Russell Industrial Center. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the show was held inside the living room of Violent J's Oakland County home.

For ICP and its fans, Hallowicked is a sacred annual tradition, and in the past the concert has featured exclusive merchandise and single drops, as well as hosted album announcements.

"Halloween has always been our most favorite time of the year," Violent J told The Detroit News in 2023. "It's always been our time, our celebration."
