Suzi Quatro is recording her first new solo studio album for six years.
The 75-year-old rock legend is currently working on tracks for her 18th studio LP which follows 2019's No Control and 2023 duets record Face To Face, which was a collaborative record with KT Tunstall.
Despite being in her mid-70s, Suzi simply cannot stop making music, playing live or writing.
The Devil Gate Drive rocker says she is "an artiste" who is miserable when she is not being creative.
Appearing on the Mumbelievable podcast, she said: "I'm touring non-stop. I do about 80 shows a year. In August I'm all over Europe, mainly in Germany.
"In October I go again to Australia for my 41st tour there. April next year it's 10 big shows in the UK.
"I'm also right in the middle of making my new album, everything is good.
"I'm an extremely creative person. I always have been. I've always drawn, I've always done poetry, I've always written. I've done my second novel and seventh published book; I've got my autobiography Unzipped, The Hurricane my first novel, two poetry books coffee table size, Through My Faults which was COVID years, Through My Words which is my lyric book, now this one Grave Undertakings.
"I'm also just finishing off my third poetry book which will be a trilogy of poetry books, Through My Eyes, Through My Heart, Through My Pain.
"I'm an artiste I have to create, communicate or entertain or I'm not happy, so I've always got a project on the go."
Suzi will perform 10 shows in the UK in April 2026.
The bassist - whose hits include Can The Can, 48 Crash, If You Can't Give Me Love, Stumblin' In, The Wild One and She's In Love With You - will kick off the run of concerts at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on April 7.
She will then head to The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead, Opera House Manchester, Watford Colosseum, and New Theatre Oxford, Cliffs Pavilion in Southend, and the world famous London Palladium.
Quatro will then rock The Forum Bath, Birmingham Symphony Hall and the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.
On celebrating more than six decades in the music business, Suzi said: "It's my 62nd year in the business, and it still feels like I've just started. Devil Gate Drive, Number One, 52 years ago. Are you ready now? Let's do it one more time for Suzi."
