Emily Ratajkowski has quoted Clueless in her latest raunchy Instagram post.

The 34-year-old model and author referenced a 1995 scene in the film in which Alicia Silverstone's character Cher name-checks French luxury house Alaïa by captioning a series of new fashion photos on her Instagram with the line: "Like a totally important designer."

Emily provocatively posed in the snaps in a leather Alaïa criss-cross top, priced at $3,800, paired with mesh capri leggings that featured lingerie-style straps cinching her waist and trailing into garters at her ankles.

She completed the look with strappy pointed-toe pumps, voluminous waves in her hair and a smoky brown eye with a glossy nude lip.

Emily's bold black-on-black outfit mixed leather with mesh in what has been called a "bondage meets balletcore" ensemble by fans.

The model, who shares her four-year-old son Sylvester with former husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, recently spoke about her approach to fashion and motherhood.

In an interview with Elle UK earlier this year, she said: "I was definitely dressed up compared to (other mothers.)

"I think that's actually one of the ways I really enjoy being subversive with motherhood."

Emily added she embraces experimenting with styles some might consider unconventional for a parent. She said: "There's so much around what a mom should look like."

Her wardrobe this summer has included cut-out dresses, Y2K-inspired minidresses and thong swimsuits, all flaunted on her Instagram page.

Emily rose to prominence in 2013 after appearing in the music video for Blurred Lines, before establishing herself as both a runway model and a film actress.

She has since appeared in the movies Gone Girl (2014), We Are Your Friends (2015) and I Feel Pretty (2018.)

In 2021 she released her memoir My Body, a collection of essays exploring sexuality, power and identity.

Alongside her modelling career, Emily has fronted campaigns for Versace, Miu Miu and DKNY, and has appeared on the covers of magazines including Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

She has also hosted her own podcast, High Low with EmRata, in which she interviews writers, artists and other public figures.
