The seventh film in a popular sci-fi action franchise tops the DVD releases for the week of Feb. 17.

"Predator: Badlands": A young Predator (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) teams up with a synthetic being (Elle Fanning) in filmmaker Dan Trachtenberg's third "Predator" entry after the animated "Killer of Killers" and 2022's "Prey."

"The 'Predator' franchise receives an unexpected blast of fun — and a healthy dose of humor — in 'Predator: Badlands,' one of the year's most thrilling, lively action movies," writes The Detroit News critic Adam Graham in his review. "Surprised? Same here. Who knew what this nearly 40-year-old series needed was a solid deployment of jokes?"
