'90 Day Fiancé' star rejects claims newborn's death was not an accident

“90 Day Fiancé” star Eric Rosebrook has rejected an initial report suggesting his newborn daughter’s cause of death was not an accident.
Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook died July 9, 2025, at just 5 weeks old, days after she was placed on life support following a domestic dispute between Rosebrook and his wife, fellow “90 Day” alum Leida Margaretha, in Wisconsin on July 4.
On Monday, the Adams County Health and Human Services Department revealed its initial assessment indicated the infant’s death was “non-accidental,” noting that it “found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”
No charges have been filed and the final autopsy report is still pending.
Margaretha has previously denied any wrongdoing related to her daughter’s death
Unsatisfied with the results, Rosenbrook told TMZ he and Margaretha have hired a private medical examiner, who apparently concluded there were issues with the initial assessment. Their expert claimed several key steps were not completed during the autopsy process, according to Rosenbrook. The official report also indicates Alisa suffered a fractured rib, Rosenbrook said it neglected to specify when the injury occurred.
His expert said the injury could have happened while Margaretha delivered Alisa by way of C-section just more than a month prior. It also could have been caused by CPR and life-saving efforts administered before she died.
Rosenbrook confirmed his daughter’s death with an emotional social media post on July 10.
“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck,” Rosenbrook wrote. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom. I do not want well wishes or questions. I will not answer anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”
An investigation into the baby girl’s death is ongoing.
