SAN DIEGO — Bob Dylan, who turns 85 on May 24, won’t be kicking back after his spring tour concludes on May 1 in Texas. The iconic singer-songwriter is hitting the road again this summer with his band for a tour that will include Dylan’s first-ever concert at San Diego’s The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, with Lucinda Williams and John Doe Folk Trio as the opening acts.

Dylan’s June 21 San Diego show is one of seven California stops on the tour, which opens June 4 in Oregon at Edgefield Concerts on the Lawn in Troutdale and concludes with July 24 and 25 performances at Wolf Trap outside Washington, D.C. No formal announcement was made about the new tour dates, which quietly were added to Dylan’s website Tuesday morning.

The other California dates are June 12 at The Venue at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, June 13 and 14 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, June 17 at the Santa Barbara Bowl, June 18 at Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, and June 20 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert.

This will mark Dylan’s first U.S. summer concert trek in the past three years without Willie Nelson. The two legendary troubadours toured together in 2024 and 2025, including memorable San Diego performances both years at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Tickets for all of Dylan’s 2026 summer concerts go on sale Friday, March 27, at bobdylan.com/on-tour, except for the Santa Barbara date, which goes on sale Saturday, March 28.

Venue presales will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, with the password HARDRAIN. An AEG presale will begin Thursday at 10 a.m. with the password BABYBLUE. All presales will conclude at 10 p.m. Thursday.
