Real Housewife, Slutty Vegan owner Pinky Cole regains keys to seized home

“Slutty Vegan” founder and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” freshman Pinky Cole has regained control of the Atlanta-area home she said she was locked out of by creditors.
Cole told a Georgie judge last week that her 2,814-square-foot home in Loganville, Georgia, was seized by creditors despite a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing meant to give her time to reorganize her finances, according to TMZ.
She claimed a prospective tenant planned to move into the six-bedroom rental house on April 1.
Cole’s lawyer told TMZ Thursday that a federal bankruptcy court ruled in favor or the plaintiff when the creditor accused of locking her out of that house didn’t show up for a recent hearing.
“The moment Ms. Cole filed her bankruptcy petition, she was protected by the automatic stay, meaning that no creditor can seize her personal property,” her attorney said.
CBS News reported that Cole’s restaurant empire was once worth $100 million. She and her husband, Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks founder Derrick Hayes, now live on his $15,000 monthly salary, according to court records viewed by TMZ.
The vegan restaurant chain Cole launched in Atlanta in 2018 includes a Fort Greene, Brooklyn eatery that opened in September 2022. Her website describes the 38-year-old Baltimore native as “a serial entrepreneur, brand strategist, and a veteran television producer.”
Cole worked on Maury Povich’s talk show “Maury” from 2013 to 2015.
She makes her “Real Housewives” debut on April 5.
