Joey Lawrence and his wife Samantha Cope have welcomed a new baby a year after they called off their divorce.

The 49-year-old actor and his partner - who wed in 2022 - took to Instagram to reveal their son Ford Joseph Lawrence was born over Easter on April 6 and they called him an "absolute blessing" in a joint message.

In a post on the social media site, the couple shared a picture showing them holding their little boy and wrote: "Ford Joseph Lawrence. Our newest member has arrived. What an absolute blessing you are baby boy! It will be an Easter Weekend to remember forever. 4.6.26. God is so good!"

The couple are also parents to three-year-old daughter Dylan while the Melissa Joey star is also dad to Charleston, 19, and 16-year-old Liberty with his ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson.

Joey and Samantha's new arrival comes just over a year after they shelved plans to divorce.

Samantha filed for divorce in August 2024 after just two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their date of separation as being two months before.

At the time, the actress sought to block the court's ability to award either of them spousal support and asked for "sole physical custody of their daughter" until she reached the age of three, at which point she would permit her to stay with her dad for up to "two nights per week".

However, just four months later in December 2024 the pair sparked speculation about a reunion after they shared a string of pictures on Instagram which showed them together, and later in the month, Samantha filed to dismiss her divorce filing.

They went on to reveal they were expecting baby number two in November 2025.

Alongside a series of family photos, including one of Dylan holding sonogram pictures while sitting on a horse, they wrote in a joint Instagram post: "Can't wait to meet you baby boy."

Samantha, 39, also shared a video on Instagram and wrote: "I'll never be over this feeling. Thankful for our beautiful growing family #gratitude.(sic)"

In the comments, Joey wrote: "I love this so much. Love you most baby."
