NEW YORK — The Kelce family is mourning the loss of Maureen Anne Maguire, who was the girlfriend of Travis and Jason Kelce’s father, Ed.

The dad of the NFL stars confirmed the news over the weekend, sharing an obituary to his Facebook page that revealed she “passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones” and described her as a “devoted mother.”

“Maureen found joy in life’s simple pleasures,” the post read. “She loved the beach, especially the shore, and had a deep affection for dogs.”

The obituary also said that Maguire developed a love for football and prioritized “every opportunity to enjoy life.”

“She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch,” the obituary continued. “Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.”

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Ed shared that Maguire was also getting to know his son Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The father of two uploaded a sweet photo of himself, Maguire, and Swift all smiles while at a Kansas City Chiefs game supporting the star tight end.

Maguire’s obituary included funeral details as well a request that people donate to the Penn Heart Transplant Fund, which “provides support to individuals in financial need receiving heart transplants.” Maguire’s cause of death was not shared.

She is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and her sister and brother.
